Biography

Muriel M. Wilkins, CEO and Founder of Paravis Partners, is a seasoned executive coach and C-suite advisor who senior leaders trust to help navigate their toughest challenges and achieve success. She hosts the acclaimed Harvard Business Review podcast, Coaching Real Leaders, and is the co-author of Own the Room: Discover Your Signature Voice to Master Your Leadership Presence. Her forthcoming book, Leadership Unblocked: Break Through the Beliefs That Limit Your Potential, is set for publication by Harvard Business Publishing in October 2025.

A former corporate executive herself, Muriel’s unique combination of deep strategy expertise, leadership experience, and focus on pragmatic solutions creates a strong proposition for clients who value her ability to understand their business context and challenges. Prior to Paravis Partners, Muriel’s corporate experience included serving on the senior executive team of U.S. News & World Report, where she held profit and loss responsibility. Muriel’s professional background also includes roles in management consulting, marketing and strategy at organizations such as Accenture and The Prudential. Recognized as one of DC’s “Top Minority Business Leaders” by the Washington Business Journal, Muriel has served on the boards of Miriam’s Kitchen and the Maret School.

She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, a BSBA from Georgetown University, and Leadership Coaching Certification from Georgetown University. With a global upbringing in North Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean, Muriel brings an invaluable perspective to her work. She now proudly calls Washington DC home. Muriel is a lifelong wisdom seeker and deeply passionate about human rights issues.
